Bangkok: questions about the violent clashes between police and protesters

  • Who is the gunman? (evidence: this photo)
  • Did police fire only tear gas, or were hand grenades used? (evidence: photos at this blog)
  • Did a man really lose his leg to clashes with the police? Or was he already an amputee? (evidence: this post at Bangkok Pundit's blog which includes video footage)
  • Did doctors at a Bangkok hospital actually refuse to treat injured police officers? (evidence: The Nation reports that doctors at Chulalongkorn Hospital refused to treat police injured during clashes with protesters, and were encouraging other doctors to not to treat injured police. The doctors were protesting "police's use of excessive violence against the protesters.")
