Olympic torch relay in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

After its Bangkok tour, the Olympic torch will travel to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. The Olympic torch relay in Malaysia will take place on April 21 and is scheduled to start at 14:00. It will end at the Petronas Twin Towers (the plan is to carry it up one of the towers). KL4FreeTibet blogger is tracking information regarding the torch rely in KL.

  1. Let me be the first Malaysia blogger who welcome the Beijing 2008 Olympic torch to Malaysia.

Olympic is sport and should never be used for political purposes. If we allowed the activist to succeed, what about future Olympics? More deaths, more protests over more issues? More analyses here.

We can't be blinded on Tibet issue. But this has got nothing to do with Olympic.

You can protest. This is your right. We won't stop you, but you should know you probably are not welcomed in Malaysia.

  2. "...you are not welcomed in Malaysia"

Is it me, or have I heard this before? "...you don't like it, you get out of Malaysia".

    Truly Malaysian.

  3. ah? you couldn't hear this before. Foreigners who try to protest on Tibet or snatch torch are not welcomed.

If you are malaysian, why you need people to welcome you here? isn't this your home?
