Yet another fee increase? I don't begrudge the struggling airlines for increasing checked luggage fees. They have to pass along rising costs somehow. It seems to me that charging for checked baggage is more fair than increasing the price of the ticket. After all, the heavier the luggage, the higher the fuel costs. Those who make the effort to travel light should not be subsidizing those who choose to take the entire contents of their homes and offices with them.
