Honduras coup sparks citizen journalism

Dario, an eyewitness to the situation in Honduras, comments on the media black-out:
The order from Micheletti is to block international news channels such as Telechile, Caracol, Al Jazeera, Guatevision and Telesur. This is contrasted with the minimal and conditioned opening of certain local channels, without any permission to communicate anything against the de facto government.
Citizen journalists are becoming a vital source of information on the situation in Honduras. THERE LIVE is tracking citizen reporters and live-bloggers.
