"The United States and the world cannot have this total unknown foisted on the presidency without any serious vetting and without any press interaction. This is absolutely third world . . . This is getting to Manchurian Candidate levels of creepiness. It's deeply sinister and slightly terrifying. "
- Andrew Sullivan, on the fact Sarah Palin won't be available to the press for two weeks
__Jotman.com focuses on global crisis events. I blog about Palin here because I believe the the proximity of Sarah Palin to the US presidency constitutes a global crisis -- more so than the election of George W. Bush eight years ago. Of greatest concern is the recklessness demonstrated by John McCain when he put politics before global security in his choice of running-mate. Whereas Sarah Palin has no foreign policy experience, John McCain has shown he has no sense.
