The Foreign Minister of Thailand Noppadon Pattama will fly to Montreal to address a meeting of UNESCO. Noppadon says he will explain to the world body why Thailand has decided not to support the listing of the Preah Vihear temple as a World Heritage site. (Bangkok Post)

This will surely appear to Cambodians as an aggressive attempt by their rich neighbor to block UNESCO status for the ancient Khmer monument which is located on Cambodian soil.
