Singapore slams Burma junta

"The junta's failing is all the more heinous for its relutctance to take in all offers of aid from foreign governments and relief organisations.  This is a crime agaisnt the people."

- from an Editorial in The Straights Times
I should note here that Singapore has historically had a fairly cozy relationship with Buma, conducting a significant amount of trade with Myanmar.  Also, editorials published in the Straights Times seldom diverge significantly from position of the government of Singapore.   Thus, this is a harsh rebuke of the junta from a friendly country.
