Pi Day

Friday, 3.14 is international Pi Day.*

Because π truncated to seven decimal places is 3.1415926, when the clock strikes 01:59:26 on March 14 "Pi Second" will have arrived. But I expect only a few geeks and people who make Pi Day Resolutions will be staying up late to celebrate.

* This is meaningful to Jotman because when he lived in Japan, Zen Master Go Roshi (photo) gave him the Buddhist name "En gaku" which means "Learns in Circles."
